US Route 460 / US Route 258 Intersection Improvements
Project Background
This project was initiated by Isle of Wight County and will be locally managed by Isle of Wight County Public Works - Transportation Division, in partnership with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The project will be fully funded through Smart Scale funding.
Project Summary
This project improves the intersection of US Route 460 at US 258 by modifying the the turn lanes and pedestrian facilities. The additional turn lanes at this intersection will help improve operations with protected-permissive phasing. The proposed sidewalks and pedestrian facilities will help improve safety for pedestrians along US Route 460 and US Route 258.

Project Updates
Isle of Wight County Transportation Department is continuing the process of designing improvements to the US Route 460 and US Route 258 turn lanes and pedestrian facilities in Windsor.
Timmons Group has been contracted as the lead project design firm for the project.
